1Jo 5:6This one is he who did come through water and blood--Jesus the Christ, not in the water only, but in the water and the blood; and the Spirit it is that is testifying, because the Spirit is the truth,
1Jo 5:7because three are who are testifying in the heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these--the three--are one;
1Jo 5:8and three are who are testifying in the earth , the Spirit, and the water, and the blood, and the three are into the one.
1Jo 5:9If the testimony of men we receive, the testimony of God is greater, because this is the testimony of God that He hath testified concerning His Son.
Jud 1:18that they said to you, that in the last time there shall be scoffers, after their own desires of impieties going on,
Jud 1:19these are those setting themselves apart, natural men, the Spirit not having.
Jud 1:20And ye, beloved, on your most holy faith building yourselves up, in the Holy Spirit praying,
Jud 1:21yourselves in the love of God keep ye, waiting for the kindness of our Lord Jesus Christ--to life age-during;
Jud 1:22and to some be kind, judging thoroughly,
Jud 1:23and some in fear save ye, out of the fire snatching, hating even the coat from the flesh spotted.
Psa 51:7Thou cleansest me with hyssop and I am clean, Washest me, and than snow I am whiter.
Psa 51:8Thou causest me to hear joy and gladness, Thou makest joyful bones Thou hast bruised.
Psa 51:9Hide Thy face from my sin. And all mine iniquities blot out.
Psa 51:10A clean heart prepare for me, O God, And a right spirit renew within me.
Psa 51:11Cast me not forth from Thy presence, And Thy Holy Spirit take not from me.
Psa 51:12Restore to me the joy of Thy salvation, And a willing spirit doth sustain me.
Psa 51:13I teach transgressors Thy ways, And sinners unto Thee do return.
Isa 63:9 In all their distress He is no adversary, And the messenger of His presence saved them, In His love and in His pity He redeemed them, And He doth lift them up, And beareth them all the days of old.
Isa 63:10And they have rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit, And He turneth to them for an enemy, He Himself hath fought against them.
Isa 63:11And He remembereth the days of old, Moses--his people. Where is He who is bringing them up from the sea, The shepherd of his flock? Where is He who is putting in its midst His Holy Spirit?
Isa 63:12Leading by the right hand of Moses, the arm of His glory, Cleaving waters from before them, To make to Himself a name age-during.
Isa 63:13Leading them through the depths, As a horse in a plain they stumble not.
Mat 1:18And of Jesus Christ, the birth was thus: For his mother Mary having been betrothed to Joseph, before their coming together she was found to have conceived from the Holy Spirit,
Mat 1:19and Joseph her husband being righteous, and not willing to make her an example, did wish privately to send her away.
Mat 1:20And on his thinking of these things, lo, a messenger of the Lord in a dream appeared to him, saying, `Joseph, son of David, thou mayest not fear to receive Mary thy wife, for that which in her was begotten is of the Holy Spirit,
Mat 1:21and she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus, for he shall save his people from their sins.'
Mat 3:10and now also, the axe unto the root of the trees is laid, every tree therefore not bearing good fruit is hewn down, and to fire is cast.
Mat 3:11`I indeed do baptize you with water to reformation, but he who after me is coming is mightier than I, of whom I am not worthy to bear the sandals, he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire,
Act 13:1And there were certain in Antioch, in the assembly there, prophets and teachers; both Barnabas, and Simeon who is called Niger, and Lucius the Cyrenian, Manaen also--Herod the tetrarch's foster-brother--and Saul;
Act 13:2and in their ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, `Separate ye to me both Barnabas and Saul to the work to which I have called them,'
Act 13:3then having fasted, and having prayed, and having laid the hands on them, they sent them away.
Act 15:27we have sent, therefore, Judas and Silas, and they by word are telling the same things.
Act 15:28`For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, no more burden to lay upon you, except these necessary things:
Act 15:29to abstain from things offered to idols, and blood, and a strangled thing, and whoredom; from which keeping yourselves, ye shall do well; be strong!'
Act 16:5then, indeed, were the assemblies established in the faith, and were abounding in number every day;
Act 16:6and having gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia,
Act 16:7having gone toward Mysia, they were trying to go on toward Bithynia, and the Spirit did not suffer them,
Act 19:2he said unto them, `The Holy Spirit did ye receive--having believed?' and they said unto him, `But we did not even hear whether there is any Holy Spirit;'
Act 19:3and he said unto them, `To what, then, were ye baptized?' and they said, `To John's baptism.'
Act 19:4And Paul said, `John, indeed, did baptize with a baptism of reformation, saying to the people that in him who is coming after him they should believe--that is, in the Christ--Jesus;'
Act 19:5and they, having heard, were baptized--to the name of the Lord Jesus,
Act 19:6and Paul having laid on them his hands, the Holy Spirit came upon them, they were speaking also with tongues, and prophesying,
Act 19:7and all the men were, as it were, twelve.
Act 20:26wherefore I take you to witness this day, that I am clear from the blood of all,
Act 20:27for I did not keep back from declaring to you all the counsel of God.
Act 20:28`Take heed, therefore, to yourselves, and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit made you overseers, to feed the assembly of God that He acquired through His own blood,
Act 20:29for I have known this, that there shall enter in, after my departing, grievous wolves unto you, not sparing the flock,
Act 21:9and this one had four daughters, virgins, prophesying.
Act 21:10And we remaining many more days, there came down a certain one from Judea, a prophet, by name Agabus,
Act 21:11and he having come unto us, and having taken up the girdle of Paul, having bound also his own hands and feet, said, `Thus saith the Holy Spirit, The man whose is this girdle--so shall the Jews in Jerusalem bind, and they shall deliver him up to the hands of nations.'
Act 28:23and having appointed him a day, they came, more of them unto him, to the lodging, to whom he was expounding, testifying fully the reign of God, persuading them also of the things concerning Jesus, both from the law of Moses, and the prophets, from morning till evening,
Act 28:24and, some, indeed, were believing the things spoken, and some were not believing.
Act 28:25And not being agreed with one another, they were going away, Paul having spoken one word--`Well did the Holy Spirit speak through Isaiah the prophet unto our fathers,
Act 28:26saying, Go on unto this people and say, With hearing ye shall hear, and ye shall not understand, and seeing ye shall see, and ye shall not perceive,
Act 28:27for made gross was the heart of this people,
Rom 5:4and the endurance, experience; and the experience, hope;
Rom 5:5and the hope doth not make ashamed, because the love of God hath been poured forth in our hearts through the Holy Spirit that hath been given to us.
Rom 5:6For in our being still ailing, Christ in due time did die for the impious;
Rom 9:1Truth I say in Christ, I lie not, my conscience bearing testimony with me in the Holy Spirit,
Rom 9:2that I have great grief and unceasing pain in my heart--
Rom 9:3for I was wishing, I myself, to be anathema from the Christ--for my brethren, my kindred, according to the flesh,
Mat 3:12whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly cleanse his floor, and will gather his wheat to the storehouse, but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.'
Rom 14:16Let not, then, your good be evil spoken of,
Rom 14:17for the reign of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit;
Rom 14:18for he who in these things is serving the Christ, is acceptable to God and approved of men.
Rom 14:19So, then, the things of peace may we pursue, and the things of building up one another;
Rom 14:20for the sake of victuals cast not down the work of God; all things, indeed, are pure, but evil is to the man who is eating through stumbling.
Rom 15:13and the God of the hope shall fill you with all joy and peace in the believing, for your abounding in the hope in power of the Holy Spirit.
Rom 15:15and the more boldly I did write to you, brethren, in part, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me by God,
Rom 15:16for my being a servant of Jesus Christ to the nations, acting as priest in the good news of God, that the offering up of the nations may become acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
Rom 15:17I have, then, a boasting in Christ Jesus, in the things pertaining to God,
Rom 15:18for I will not dare to speak anything of the things that Christ did not work through me, to obedience of nations, by word and deed,
1Co 2:12And we the spirit of the world did not receive, but the Spirit that is of God, that we may know the things conferred by God on us,
1Co 2:13which things also we speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Holy Spirit, with spiritual things spiritual things comparing,
1Co 2:14and the natural man doth not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for to him they are foolishness, and he is not able to know them , because spiritually they are discerned;
1Co 6:18flee the whoredom; every sin--whatever a man may commit--is without the body, and he who is committing whoredom, against his own body doth sin.
1Co 6:19Have ye not known that your body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit in you, which ye have from God? and ye are not your own,
1Co 6:20for ye were bought with a price; glorify, then, God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.
1Co 12:1And concerning the spiritual things, brethren, I do not wish you to be ignorant;
1Co 12:2ye have known that ye were nations, unto the dumb idols--as ye were led--being carried away;
1Co 12:3wherefore, I give you to understand that no one, in the Spirit of God speaking, saith Jesus is anathema, and no one is able to say Jesus is Lord, except in the Holy Spirit.
1Co 12:4And there are diversities of gifts, and the same Spirit;
2Co 6:5in stripes, in imprisonments, in insurrections, in labours, in watchings, in fastings,
2Co 6:6in pureness, in knowledge, in long-suffering, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in love unfeigned,
2Co 6:7in the word of truth, in the power of God, through the armour of the righteousness, on the right and on the left,
2Co 6:8through glory and dishonour, through evil report and good report, as leading astray, and true;
2Co 13:11Henceforth, brethren, rejoice; be made perfect, be comforted, be of the same mind, be at peace, and the God of the love and peace shall be with you;
2Co 13:12salute one another in an holy kiss;
2Co 13:13salute you do all the saints;
2Co 13:14the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, is with you all! Amen.
Eph 1:12for our being to the praise of His glory, even those who did first hope in the Christ,
Eph 1:13in whom ye also, having heard the word of the truth--the good news of your salvation--in whom also having believed, ye were sealed with the Holy Spirit of the promise,
Eph 1:14which is an earnest of our inheritance, to the redemption of the acquired possession, to the praise of His glory.
Eph 1:15Because of this I also, having heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and the love to all the saints,
Eph 1:16do not cease giving thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers,
Eph 4:29Let no corrupt word out of your mouth go forth, but what is good unto the needful building up, that it may give grace to the hearers;
Eph 4:30and make not sorrowful the Holy Spirit of God, in which ye were sealed to a day of redemption.
Eph 4:31Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil-speaking, be put away from you, with all malice,
Eph 4:32and become one to another kind, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, according as also God in Christ did forgive you
1Th 1:4having known, brethren beloved, by God, your election,
1Th 1:5because our good news did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit, and in much assurance, even as ye have known of what sort we became among you because of you,
1Th 1:6and ye--ye did become imitators of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much tribulation, with joy of the Holy Spirit,
1Th 1:7so that ye became patterns to all those believing in Macedonia and Achaia,
1Th 1:8for from you hath sounded forth the word of the Lord, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith toward God did go forth, so that we have no need to say anything,
1Th 4:7for God did not call us on uncleanness, but in sanctification;
1Th 4:8he, therefore, who is despising--doth not despise man, but God, who also did give His Holy Spirit to us.
1Th 4:9And concerning the brotherly love, ye have no need of my writing to you, for ye yourselves are God-taught to love one another,
1Th 4:10for ye do it also to all the brethren who are in all Macedonia; and we call upon you, brethren, to abound still more,
2Ti 1:12for which cause also these things I suffer, but I am not ashamed, for I have known in whom I have believed, and have been persuaded that he is able that which I have committed to him to guard--to that day.
2Ti 1:13The pattern hold thou of sound words, which from me thou didst hear, in faith and love that is in Christ Jesus;
2Ti 1:14the good thing committed guard thou through the Holy Spirit that is dwelling in us;
2Ti 1:15thou hast known this, that they did turn from me--all those in Asia, of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes;
Tit 3:3for we were once--also we--thoughtless, disobedient, led astray, serving desires and pleasures manifold, in malice and envy living, odious--hating one another;
Tit 3:4and when the kindness and the love to men of God our Saviour did appear
Tit 3:5(not by works that are in righteousness that we did but according to His kindness,) He did save us, through a bathing of regeneration, and a renewing of the Holy Spirit,
Tit 3:6which He poured upon us richly, through Jesus Christ our Saviour,
Tit 3:7that having been declared righteous by His grace, heirs we may become according to the hope of life age-during.
Heb 2:3how shall we escape, having neglected so great salvation? which a beginning receiving--to be spoken through the Lord--by those having heard was confirmed to us,
Heb 2:4God also bearing joint-witness both with signs and wonders, and manifold powers, and distributions of the Holy Spirit, according to His will.
Heb 2:5For not to messengers did He subject the coming world, concerning which we speak,
Heb 2:6and one in a certain place did testify fully, saying, `What is man, that Thou art mindful of him, or a son of man, that Thou dost look after him?
Heb 3:6and Christ, as a Son over his house, whose house are we, if the boldness and the rejoicing of the hope unto the end we hold fast.
Heb 3:7Wherefore, (as the Holy Spirit saith, `To-day, if His voice ye may hear--
Heb 3:8ye may not harden your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of the temptation in the wilderness,
Heb 6:2of the teaching of baptisms, of laying on also of hands, of rising again also of the dead, and of judgment age-during,
Heb 6:3and this we will do, if God may permit,
Heb 6:4for it is impossible for those once enlightened, having tasted also of the heavenly gift, and partakers having became of the Holy Spirit,
Heb 6:5and did taste the good saying of God, the powers also of the coming age,
Heb 6:6and having fallen away, again to renew them to reformation, having crucified again to themselves the Son of God, and exposed to public shame.
Heb 9:7and into the second, once in the year, only the chief priest, not apart from blood, which he doth offer for himself and the errors of the people,
Heb 9:8the Holy Spirit this evidencing that not yet hath been manifested the way of the holy places , the first tabernacle having yet a standing;
Heb 9:9which is a simile in regard to the present time, in which both gifts and sacrifices are offered, which are not able, in regard to conscience, to make perfect him who is serving,
Heb 9:10only in victuals, and drinks, and different baptisms, and fleshly ordinances--till the time of reformation imposed upon them .
Heb 10:13as to the rest, expecting till He may place his enemies as his footstool,
Heb 10:14for by one offering he hath perfected to the end those sanctified;
Heb 10:15and testify to us also doth the Holy Spirit, for after that He hath said before,
Heb 10:16`This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, giving My laws on their hearts, and upon their minds I will write them,'
Heb 10:17and `their sins and their lawlessness I will remember no more;'
Heb 10:18and where forgiveness of these is , there is no more offering for sin.
1Pe 1:10concerning which salvation seek out and search out did prophets who concerning the grace toward you did prophecy,
1Pe 1:11searching in regard to what or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ that was in them was manifesting, testifying beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glory after these,
1Pe 1:12to whom it was revealed, that not to themselves, but to us they were ministering these, which now were told to you (through those who did proclaim good news to you,) in the Holy Spirit sent from heaven, to which things messengers do desire to bend looking.
2Pe 1:19And we have more firm the prophetic word, to which we do well giving heed, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, till day may dawn, and a morning star may arise--in your hearts;
2Pe 1:20this first knowing, that no prophecy of the Writing doth come of private exposition,
2Pe 1:21for not by will of man did ever prophecy come, but by the Holy Spirit borne on holy men of God spake.
