Only to the Lost Sheep
of the House of IsraelJesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. John 18:36 John 10:26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops, Matthew 10:27
These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and enter ye not into any city of the Samaritans. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel, Matthew 10:5-6But he answered and said, I was sent only unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel, Matthew 15:24
But he answered and said, I was sent only unto the scattered race of the house of IsraelI have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments, Psalms 119:176 My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their resting place. Jeremiah 50:6 Jesus replied, "And why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition"? Matthew 15:3
For akathartos pneuma, crying with loud voice, came from many that were ... and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. Act 8:7John 10:24 Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
John 10:25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.
John10:26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand.
John 10:29 My Father, which gave [them] me, is greater than all; and no [man] is able to pluck [them] out of my Father's hand.
John 10:30 I and [my] Father are one.
John 10:31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
John 13:33 Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you.
Mat 23:33 Ye serpents, ye race of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? Mat 23:34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: Mat 23:35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zechariah son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar. Mat 23:36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this race.
Tit 1:14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth. Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
Mar 15:31 Likewise also the chief priests mocking said among themselves with the scribes, He saved others; himself he cannot save. Mar 15:32 Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him. John 11:53 Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death. John 11:54 Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews; but went thence unto a country near to the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples.
1 Thessalonians 2:14-15 For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:
John8:39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. John 8:40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. John 8:41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. John 8:42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. John 8:43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. John 8:48 Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?
All descendants of Jacob or Israelites but only the 10 northern tribes comprised the house of Israel, and only the two southern tribes comprised the house of Judah, with the Tribe of Levi dispersed amongst all 12 tribes. Who exactly did Christ exclude when He said He came only for the house of Israel? Well, an Israelite or a jew of the house of Judah for one thing. And the the Hittite, and the Girgashite, and the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite, and the Egyptian, and the Assyrian. He also excluded the 1.2 billion Buddhists today who follow Buddha, not Christ, 1.2 billion Muslims who follow Mohammed and not Christ, almost one billion Hindus, one billion pagans in Africa who view the Ten Commandments as a violation of their civil rights, and almost one billion goddess worshipers of South America who barely accept Mary as their "god" and to whom Christ is not even a consideration. None of these people were His sheep, and none of them ever can become His sheep. When Jesus Christ commanded His Twelve Disciples to go only to "the lost sheep of the house of Israel", He was referring only to the descendants of the northern tribes, thus commanding them to avoid all others. Were the jews of His fold, or race? No. In John 10, Christ specifically tells the jews "ye are not of my sheep" and cannot even "hear my voice".
The following verse which includes Strong's Concordance numbers clarifies His point:
Who are the members of the "house of Israel", and who are its "lost sheep"? The word "sheep" is translated from the Greek word "probaton":
This is clearly a figurative usage which means fold, family, or race rather than a literal translation which means quadruped or sheep. The phrase "house of Israel" appears in the Holy Bible 146 times and refers every time to the northern ten tribes (Reuben, Gad, Aser, Naphtali, Manasses, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, Zebulon, and Joseph), as opposed to the "house of Judah" which appears 41 times and refers every time to the southern two tribes (Benjamin and Judah).
The word "apollumi" from which "lost was translated is often translated as destroyed or perished:
The English word "descendants" never appears in the King James Version of the Holy Bible, but rather uses the word "house" when referring to descendants. The Greek word "oikia" is the word which describes a literal abode or residence, so if this passage were referring to a physical structure, this is the word that would have been used:
The Greek word "patria" is the word which describes a family, so if this passage were intended to apply only to one generation, this is the word that would have been used:
To an Israelite, who could be the "gentiles" He was referring to? Gentile is tranlsated from the Greek word "ethnos":
It would be clear from this that all non-Israelites [read: all who are not descendants of Jacob] would be considered gentiles by any Israelite. Descendants of Japeth or Ashkenaz are not descendants of Israel, so to an Israelite, jews would have been considered gentiles. Descendants of Esau, Ham, Cush, Gomer, and Jehudi [read: Jehudahites] would have been gentiles. But why should we avoid "any city of the Samaritans"? The following from the International Standard Bible Encyclopedia provides a clue:
And from Webster:
SAMAR'ITAN, a. 1. Pertaining to Samaria, the principal city of the ten tribes of Israel, belonging to the tribe of Ephraim, and after the captivity of those tribes, repeopled by Cuthites from Assyria or Chaldea.
During Jesus' time, Samaritans were no longer Israelites, since the Israelites had been dispersed to other places and replaced by Cuthites [read: Assyrians and Chaldeans] who were not Israelites.
So Jesus Christ warned His Twelve Disciples to avoid Cuthites, Jehudahites ("jews" in the Old Testament), descendants of Esau (now jews), descendants of Ishmael (now Muslims), of Ham, of Cush, of Japeth, and Ashkenazi jews!
By today's standards Jesus Christ had a racist attitude. Our jewish courts (50-90% of students and faculty of schools like Harvard Law School are jews) would cut him down in a second, something they don't do to jews who are equally racist about their own race, just as jews did do to Him two millennia ago.
THE FOLLOWING CRITIQUE IS COMPLIMENTS OF WILLIE MARTIN
"Ephraim feedeth on wind, and followeth after the east wind..." (Hosea 12:1)
The texts of these Assyrian clay tablets were not deciphered until about 1930. These Assyrian reports were saying in effect:
"The last time we saw those sons of Omri (as the Israelites were called by the Assyrians), they were breaking away and heading in a northwesterly direction toward Europe."
Not to inquire about this evidence, found by the prophesied "hunters," would therefore be foolhardy; for there is nothing imprudent in Scripture! After all, who are we to condemn, repudiate, disavow or scoff at Jeremiah's inspired written prophecy? If Jeremiah predicted "hunters," you can be assured there would come a time for "hunting." To accept the "fishers" without the "hunters" is to embrace only half of Yahweh's Word!
Besides, all this is substantiated by the "apocryphal" book that used to be in the original King James version of the Bible before the enemies of Yahweh removed it, 2 Esdras 13:3945. The 1611 King James had 2 Esdras in it:
"And whereas thou sawest that he gathered another peaceable multitude unto him; Those are the ten tribes which were carried away prisoners out of their own land in the time of Osea the king, whom Salmanasar the king of Assyria led away captive, and he carried them over the waters and so came they into another land. But they took this counsel among themselves, that they would leave the multitude of the heathen, and go forth into a further country, where never mankind dwelt. That they might there keep their statutes, which they never kept in their own land. And they entered into Euphrates by the narrow passages of the river. For the most High then shewed signs for them, and held still the flood, till they were passed over. For though that country there was a great way to go, namely, of a hear and a half: and the same region is called Arsareth." (Also check Josephus, Antiquities, 8:11:1; 10:9:7 and 11:5:2)
At this juncture, we can no longer say no one ever told us who the "hunters" are, or the people for whom they were "hunting!" As a matter of fact, our Redeemer made it quite clear who the people were to whom He was sent when He instructed His disciples in Matthew 10:5-6:
"These twelve Jesus (Yeashua) sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles (heathen), and into ANY city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go RATHER TO THE LOST SHEEP OF THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL."
This passage is reinforced by Yeashua the Messiah Himself when He said in Matthew 15:24:
"...I am not sent but unto the LOST SHEEP OF THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL."
This coincides perfectly with Amos 3:2 where Yahweh speaks of Israel:
"You only (Israel) have I known of all the families of the earth..."
These passages also accord with Deuteronomy 7:6 where we find:
"For thou ART an holy (set apart) people unto Yahweh thy Mighty One: Yahweh thy Mighty One hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all the people that are upon the face of the earth."
This is the same idea brought forth in, and conveys the same meaning as 1st Peter 2:9 which says:
"But ye are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar (set apart) people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you o ut of darkness into his marvelous light." (See also Exodus 19:5-6)
The same concept is expressed in Psalm 147:19-20:
"He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel. HE HATH NOT DEALT SO WITH ANY NATION: and as for his judgments, they (the non-Israelites) have not known them."
Again, the same thought is advanced in Deuteronomy 14:2 which says:
"For thou art a people set apart unto Yahweh thy Mighty One, and Yahweh hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, ABOVE ALL THE (other) NATIONS THAT ARE UPON THE EARTH."
For another rendering of the same basic precept, Isaiah 41:8 says:
"But thou Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend."
CONTRARY TO WHAT THE LYING, DECEIVING, DECEIVING JUDEO-CHRISTIAN CLERGY TEACH, YAHWEH DOES NOT PROMOTE THE DOCTRINE OF UNIVERSALISM.
More On The Fishers and Hunters:
For this phase of this presentation, we will quote from Howard Rand's "Study in Jeremiah," pages 81-82 entitled "Fishers And Hunters" (we will use Yahweh (Tetragrammaton) instead of God:
"Yahweh sets forth the method by which He will bring Israel back to Himself. This is a most important prophecy for in sending for fishers and hunters the way in which Israel is to be awakened to spiritual values and to the need of obeying His Covenant is revealed to Jeremiah:
'Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith Yahweh, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.' (Jeremiah 16:16)
