Of 3,200 American men on death row, 220 of them are in Pennsylvania
And she releases a woman who murdered 8 children
|Lynne Abraham, the woman the New York Times Magazine calls "America's
Deadliest D.A." (She seeks death in 85 percent of eligible
cases.) Thanks in large part to Abraham,
Philadelphia claims more death row inmates than any other county save Harris (Houston) and
Los Angeles. And as a Democratic contender in next year's mayor's race, she's hardly
"The talking points memo this evening will express my extreme
Philadelphia District Attorney Lynne Abraham.
Not since Janet Reno has a law enforcement official thumbed her nose at
citizens of this country ... as much as Ms. Abraham has.
She is the woman who failed to aggressively prosecute the baby killer
Noe ... who smothered to death eight of her children. For reasons she
publicly explain ... Ms. Abraham cut a deal with Mrs. Noe ... which
Parole for eight murders.
Now D.A. Abraham has embarrassed herself again.
You may remember this scene in Philadelphia ... a man carrying a sign
criticizing President Clinton is savagely beaten by some teamsters. A
camera captures the crime on tape. Two teamsters are arrested and
and incredibly ... so is the man they beat up.
The teamsters pled guilty to assault .... but the victim Don Adams
believe D.A. Abraham was charging him with assault as well ..... so he
trial and was found not guilty.
The Factor contacted Lynne Abraham's office for reaction ... the
was arrogant and refused to discuss the case on the record. The same
got about the Marie Noe situation.
Ms. Abraham is a democrat and there are charges that her prosecution of
Adams was politically motivated. Of course she is a public servant and
demand ... that she explain herself to the people she represents.
But like Janet Reno..... Lynne Abraham seems to be a law unto herself
refuses to explain her disturbing decisions and her conduct in my
frightening. This isn't a police state here where the law is enforced
Summing up .... we have a baby killer sitting in her home ... and a
demonstrator beaten up by thugs ... yet he's the one that stands trial.
Something is very, very wrong in Philadelphia."
