Gentlemen,

The "Supreme Court Decision Survey" regarding the requirement that VMI admit women shows that 96% of VMI men and women are serious about VMI remaining all-male. But it also showed that only 21% believed that this ruling stands as a violation of their religious belief.

Christianity is explicit in its description of the relative roles of men and women in society [ bible.htm]. This Supreme Court decision violates these most important Biblical tenets in many ways. It is reported that 85% of North Americans are Christians, which is evidence that the First Amendment right to "free exercise [of religion]" is being denied to this 85% of society, plus those members of religions which define the role of women in society in terms similar to Christianity (which may be just about all the rest of the world's established and successful religions) to the alleged benefit of a small radical minority of feminists.

With at least 85% of North Americans supporting these Biblical values, and with most of the rest of the religions in the US supporting social structures similar to Christianity's, how can it be explained that only 21% of these responses from the VMI family view this as a violation of religious beliefs? What is the ideological view of those 64% to as many as 79% who don't view this as a violation of their religious beliefs?

Your candid and confidential response to this survey will answer these questions and only the statistical results will be posted publicly at survrlgn.htm
