DAY OF ACTION
IN DEFENSE OF AFFIRMATIVE ACTION:
FEBRUARY 24, 1999
|On the heels of the very successful nationwide actions and walkouts
that took place on October 21 & 22, a National Students & Youth Day of Action in
Defense of Affirmative Action is being held on February 24, 1999. This day can unite the
forces of the growing movement around the country. It is an opportunity to organize,
educate, and take action on as large a scale as possible. It is an opportunity to say we
are drawing a line in the sand against the attack on affirmative action! Contact us if you
are interested in organizing at your school or region, or to be added to the list of
participating campuses and organizations.
Please forward the national call for February
24 to anyone and everyone you know.
