HALLELUJAH!!
AS THIS PUTATIVE CHRISTIAN NATION PROMOTES THEM
BLASPHEMY AGAINST YAHWEH (GOD)
Let's break this down ...
We see a Naval vessel in the background which belongs to the most powerful
nation on earth, made from steel, iron, brass etc. that all
came out of the ground...Leviticus 26:4 KJV - Then I will give you
rain in due season, and the land shall yield her
increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit... All
wealth comes out of the ground and GOD created everything and owns
everything, but gave it to us as a blessing...So GOD also gave us his laws and
blessed us, but would curse us and take everything away if we disobey...So here
we have a PROUD Navy vessel returning home from war exercises represented by 2
Lesbians kissing that were chosen as the Navy tradition...So you
think the Navy is PROUD !!!...Leviticus 26:19 KJV - And
I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as
iron, and your earth as brass...Leviticus 18:22 TLV - Homosexuality is
absolutely forbidden, for it is an enormous sin... Folks, this nation has broken all of GOD'S laws
and this is as like spitting in GOD'S face !...Where is the outrage
?...Where are the protests in the streets ?...What has this nation become
?...What's worse is what will happen next because GOD has already removed his
hand of protection from the USA...Hold on,it's going to be a wild ride to the
bottom...

update: "Gay" is derived from the Biblical term
gey
But I tell you that it will be
more bearable for Sodom on the day of judgment than for you, Matthew
11:24
There shall be no
whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.
Deuteronomy 23:17And there were also sodomites
in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the LORD
cast out before the children of Israel. 1Kings 14:24They die in youth, and
their life is among the sodomites.
Job 36:14`And a man who
lieth with a male as one lieth with a woman; abomination both of them have done; they are
certainly put to death; their blood is on them. Lev 20:13
"The Netherlands is the only country in the
world that permits same-sex couples to marry. The law, which went into effect April 1,
2001, eliminates all references to gender in laws governing matrimony, divorce, and
adoption"
New Yorkers, the direct
beneficiaries of 911, fail to heed God's Warning Shot:
"New York City passed a gay-rights measure in 1986. New York would be the
13th state to enact a gay-rights law if the measure is

"Judaism does NOT forbid
homosexuality -- as TORAH never mentions homosexuality. It does forbid homosexual 'sexual
acts' as a religious act ... at pagan temples and male prostitution --all very common

California Supreme Court decision to overturn the will of the
people and allow homosexual couples to marry by a sharply divided Court (4 to 3)
set the stage for same-sex marriages to begin June 16th, overturning the will of
the people when on March 7, 2000, the people of California voted overwhelmingly
(61.4%) in favor of Proposition 22 which affirmed, Only marriage between a man
and a woman is valid or recognized in California
May God put this court in hell for an eternity for such
HATE of
HIS Law, & the rule of law and!
In December 1973, the American Psychiatric Association's Board of
Trustees deleted homosexuality from its official nomenclature of mental disorders, the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Second Edition (DSMII). The action was taken following a
review of the scientific literature and consultation with experts in
the field.
"Six of the eight states where 50 percent or more of the
public supports gay marriage are the states with the highest proportion of
Catholics, ranging from Rhode Island at 46 percent to New York and California at
37 percent. Meanwhile, the eight states most opposed to gay marriage include six
of the seven with the lowest proportion of Catholics, from Alabama at six
percent to North Carolina at nine percent. In other words, support for same-sex
marriage is directly proportional to the percentage of Catholics in a given state
"In the United States gays and lesbians can legally marry in [six states] New
Hampshire, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Iowa, and Vermont, and
Washington, DC."
Thanks to gay sodomizing AIDS carrying Catholic priests, the percent of
Americans who claim to be Catholics is now less than 20%. Since 46% of
them "favor gay marriage", this is a mere 9.2% of all Americans. Since
Jewish sources claim the population of Jews in America has recently declined
from 2% to 1%, and since 76% of them "favor gay marriage", this is another
0.76%, for a total of less than 10%, who favor gay marriage. For what
reason, then, should the other 90% of us permit this amoral, AIDS-ridden,
degenerate minority group to impose this vast affront before God upon us?
How can 9 out of 10 Americans even begin to have real free exercise of religion
when we are being dictated to by this decrepit church?
Did God let us down?
Did He fail to punish such egregious sinners? Not exactly. He killed
more than 35 million gays, plus another 1 million gay Catholic priests, with the
long and painful "disease and pestilence" we now call AIDS.
<<<White mainline Protestants and white Catholics have become more supportive of
gay marriage, though virtually
all of the change in opinion among both groups has come among those who attend
services relatively infrequently.
About half (49%) of white mainline Protestants support same-sex marriage
while 38% oppose this. This is a reversal of opinion from the past two years
when 40% favored and 49% opposed allowing gays and lesbians to marry legally.
Just 35% of white mainline Protestants who attend church at least once a week
favor same-sex marriage, nearly the same percentage as in 2008-2009 (34%). Among
those who attend services less often, support has increased by 11 points (from
42% to 53%).
There has been a similar shift among white Catholics 49% now favor same-sex
marriage while 41% are opposed. Opinion was more evenly divided over the past
two years (44% favor, 45% oppose). Here too, support has increased among those
who attend services less than weekly, from 51% in 2008-2009 to 59% in 2010.
White evangelical Protestants overwhelmingly oppose gay marriage (20% favor
vs. 74% oppose), and these opinions have changed little since 2008-2009.
Similarly, black Protestants continue to oppose gay marriage by a wide margin
(28% favor vs. 62% oppose).
By contrast, Jews and the unaffiliated have remained far more supportive of
same-sex marriage. Their views also have changed little during this time.
Three-quarters of Jews (76%) and 62% of the religiously unaffiliated say they
favor allowing gays and lesbians to marry legally.>>>

"All Americans are entitled to equal rights, except convicted
felons who are properly deprived of liberty for the term of their sentence.
We're all entitled to "due process" as well. Not even a felon can be deprived of
his or her rights without due process of law. In any event, you're not wildly
off topic for this thread. Here we're talking LGBT couples being issued marriage
licenses on the same basis as heterosexual couples. Those are the equal rights
under discussion. "
When you claim you want "equal rights" for "all Americans", aren't you excluding

You DO NOT want them to have "equal rights" much less free exercise of religion,
do you?
YOU who represents less than 0.37% of the population want to FORCE them to
accept mortal sinners into their midst.
How do you get that "right"?

school attendance
on the day of survey administration. The combined school and student response

STATES WITH HIGHEST PERCENTAGE OF CATHOLICS
Massachusetts, which has authorized same-sex marriages the longest, also has had
the most: 22,406 through 2012. New York had at least 12,285 same-sex marriages
in 2011 and 2012; Connecticut witnessed 5,759 from 2009 through 2011. Nearly
2,500 same-sex couples were married in Washington state between Dec. 6, 2012 and
March 31 of this year. Maine, where same-sex marriages became legal on Dec. 29,
had 428 through last week.
California presents a special case. Same-sex marriages there were performed from
June 2008, when the state Supreme Court legalized them, until voters passed
Proposition 8 that November, which inserted a ban in the state constitution. In
the absence of any official state figures, we relied on an estimate by the UCLA
School of Laws Williams Institute that 18,000 same-sex marriages took place in
California during the four-and-a-half months they were legal; the state still
recognizes those marriages. (The Supreme Court today also declined to rule on an
appeal of a lower-court ruling invalidating Proposition 8, essentially clearing
the way for same-sex marriages to resume in that state.)
But there almost certainly have been more U.S. same-sex marriages than the
official records show, for several reasons.
Areas with the highest rate ofsame-sex
malemarriage
Three justices (Ternus, Baker, and Streit) who ruled against we the people
of Iowa in their overwhelming public mandate to outlaw gay marriage were just
removed by we the people of Iowa, just as we the people of California will soon
remove Judge Roberts who ruled against TWO overwhelming public mandates from us.
Gay marriage is legal in only 12% of the states: New Hampshire, New York,
Massachusetts, Connecticut, Iowa, and Vermont, and Washington, DC. Voters
in Vermont tossed out 4 Republican and 1 Democrat legislators who voted for gay
marriage.
The only explanation for why gay marriage APPEARS to be
gaining acceptance is that women voters are one third more likely to accept them
than men voters:
87% of the American Jewish Committee, 73% of Jewish women,
82% of atheist Jews, support gay marriage.

Party to a same-sex marriage, familiar

At least 131,081 same-sex couples have been
legally married in the United States, although
the number is probably larger due to gaps in the
available data. This makes the United States the
country with the most reported same-sex
marriages in the world.

There's nothing that reveals
the zeal and ability of zionists to destroy this Christian nation more brilliantly than
the battle between 'we the people' and our own politicians in their attempt to impose
"legalized" sodomy on our youth, coupled with the ability and willingness of
"polling organizations" and other jewish controlled "news sources" to
misrepresent American public opinion. In 1991, where The
General
Social Survey showed that the percentage of Americans who viewed "gay sex as
always wrong" was 71%, The Gallup Organization was reporting that
only 48% believed homosexual relations should not be legal, a
disconnect of serious proportions.
"On November 3, 1993, by a
vote of 53.4% to 46.6%, the voters of the State of Colorado
passed an initiated amendment to the Colorado Constitution referred to as Amendment 2.
That amendment provides: No Protected Status Based on Homosexual, Lesbian, or Bisexual
Orientation". The courts struck it down, in violation of the will of 'we the
people', due mostly to advocacy work by non-credible and irresponsible "polling"
and "news" organizations like Gallup, who reported at that time that only
48% of the people they polled
"think homosexual relations between consenting adults should not be
legal". More reputable polling organizations reported that "Seventy-four
percent of Hawaii residents polled are opposed to same-sex marriage, and
yet just four members of the Hawaii Senate were able to kill a constitutional amendment
that had already passed the House of Representatives by a two-thirds majority. This action
by four senators to prohibit Hawaii residents from voting has citizens outraged".
This 26% disconnect between Gallup and reality was the beginning of the end for the
credibility of formerly objective polling and news sources like Gallup.
The schism widened in 1996 when Gallup
reported that opposition to legalizing sodomy was now down to
44%,
yet "The federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) specifically states that
the federal government will not recognize a same-sex relationship treated like a marriage.
This means that, under the current law, parties to a civil union will not be able to
qualify for any of the benefits and protections contained in the 1049 federal laws
affecting the spousal relationship". "DOMA became Public Law 104-199 on
September 21, 1996"
Encouraged by their previous failures, as
most "liberals" always are, Gallup then reported in 1999 that opposition to
legalized homosexual relations was down to a mere 43%.
But that was less than one year after "The electorate of Hawaii voted on November 4, 1998
to amend the state constitution to permit the legislature to ban same-gender marriage,
effectively ending the possibility that marriage will be granted to same-gender couples in
that state." "69% of
voters approved a ballot initiative which changed the state constitution to allow the
legislature to restrict marriage to heterosexual couples", meaning that Gallup was
now under-reporting opposition to legalized homosexual relations by 26%. Was Hawaii some
remarkable exception to the norm? No. "In Alaska the case for
same-sex unions was weaker, but still a threat to traditional marriage. In February a
lower court determined that denying homosexuals the right to marry violated the Alaska
constitution. In response, 68% of
voters approved a measure which amended the state's constitution to limit marriage to
one man, one woman". Gallup was again off by 25-26%, which in polling is much
bigger than a mile.
False information from Gallup has now
become legion. Their report that the percentage of voters who favored the
legalization of homosexual relations was now up to 50%
encouraged the "liberal" California court to attempt to attempt to legalize
"gay marriages". Even a Field Poll
conducted prior to the passage of Proposition 22 suggested that Gallup was not far off
target, indicating that only 51% of Californians supported it. Yet with all of the
misinformation and false information, with Gallup proclaiming from the rafters that
opposition to legalized sodomy was down to 43%, 63% of
California voters still gave common sense and Christian principles a landslide victory
on March 7, 2000 and passed this ballot initiative to BAN such marriages. Vermont's
courts attempted to do the same thing, and Vermont voters reacted by passing a similar
initiative to ban same-sex marriages. In December 2000, "In Nebraska, unofficial
election results indicate an anti-Gay ballot measure there passed by a margin of 70 percent to 30 percent among 640,310
voters. Initiative 416 calls for amending the state constitution so marriage is recognized
only for heterosexual couples". "In Nevada, unofficial election results
indicate 589,865 residents there voted on a proposed anti-Gay ballot measure and approved
it by a margin of 69.4 percent to 30.5
percent. The measure sought to amend the state constitution so that only a marriage
between a man and a woman is legally recognized in that state". "In Maine, the Human Rights
Campaign supported the efforts of the YES on 6 for Equal Rights Campaign. Question 6 gave
voters the opportunity to enact a law banning discrimination on the basis of sexual
orientation in employment, housing and public accommodations. If it had passed, it would
have marked the first time that voters had passed a state law to protect lesbian,
gay and bisexual people. Voters in Washington state rejected a similar initiative several
years ago after the Legislature passed a measure requiring a ballot vote". The icing on the cake was in 2005 when
76% of the voters in Texas said not just NO, but ".ell NO" to sodomites with
Proposition 2 (a proposition which the "news" media hardly wrote ten words
about).
Again, Gallup was off by a mile.
State after state after state proved that their biased sodomite polls under-represented
opposition to "legalization of homosexual relations" by a minimum of 20%, all
the way up to 27%.
Is Gallup "the
gang that can't shoot straight", are they all faggots, or are they so intent on
destroying the moral fiber of this Christian nation that they just can't permit a mere thing like facts to
get in the way? As if though 35 state initiatives to ban "gay marriages"
isn't enough to get the message across to these despicable "liberals", they then
attempted to change the wording to "civil unions", JUST in order to
attempt to side step the restriction on "gay marriages" implemented by 'we the
people' in legitimate public mandates. Such weasel wording will be met with the same
resolve that the immoral supporters of affirmative action met, no
matter how disconnected from reality "polling organizations" like Gallup get.
None of the organizations which pride
themselves on being objective pollsters were even close to reality. The Pascoe Poll
showed 56% of voters opposed "gay marriages", which was the closest to reality,
but no state's initiative passed by less than 63% and the average was closer to 70%.
Environics poll was even further off the mark than Gallup, and actual public
opinion against legalized sodomy exceeded Gallup's estimate by almost two thirds.
Is it really this difficult to get more
accurate polling results than this? Absolutely not. NORC
managed to break down American public opinion by all kinds of racial, age, and sex
categories several decades ago, and even now their results were the closest to the actual
vote counts in state after state. Has public opinion changed since NORC conducted their survey in
1985-1989? Not according to REAL people going to REAL poll booths and
creating LANDSLIDE VICTORIES against sodomites and the amoral crew who support
them. Their survey showed that 69-70% of the voting age group
between 25 to 44 opposed same sex relationships, which is exactly how the voters of each
state voted.

LGBT Percentage Highest in D.C., Lowest in North Dakota
All states are within two percentage points of the overall
national average of 3.5%
by Gary J. Gates and Frank Newport
PRINCETON, NJ -- The percentage of U.S. adults who identify as lesbian,
gay, bisexual, or transgender (LGBT) ranges from 1.7% in North Dakota to
5.1% in Hawaii and 10% in the District of Columbia, according to Gallup
surveys conducted from June-December 2012. Residents in the District of
Columbia were most likely to identify as LGBT (10%). Among states, the
highest percentage was in Hawaii (5.1%) and the lowest in North Dakota
(1.7%), but all states are within two percentage points of the nationwide
average of 3.5%.
Only 10% believes that it is
"not wrong at all". Only 1% profess to be "gay", and 3% of those who
have committed sodomy report that it was "against their will". The Gallup Organization reveals the left wing [read: jewish] agenda of that
organization when, rather than asking whether or not existing laws against sodomy should
be upheld or whether or not Christians who follow the Holy Bible have a right to free
exercise of religion, asked:
As you may know, there has been considerable discussion in the
news regarding the rights of homosexual men and women. In general, do you think
homosexuals should or should not have equal rights in terms of job opportunities?http://www.gallup.com/poll/Indicators/indhomosexual.asp
Phrasing this as a question of
"rights" in the work place is patently dishonest, but even so an increase from
56% to 83% on this question is not a good sign. One of their other polls of parents
about their children's schools found that 61% oppose "Teaching
homosexuality as an alternative lifestyle" which is only slightly
more honest, but far more in conformance with more respectable opinion sources like
"The Statistical Handbook on the American Family" which found that 70% believe
homosexuality is wrong. But the final proof that Gallup is an advocacy organization
rather than an objective polling organization is the following title to their
March 10, 1999 poll on sodomy:
"Some Change Over Time in American Attitudes
towards
Homosexuality, but Negativity Remains"
To the 70-83% of Americans who
oppose the legalization of sodomy, it cannot be considered "negativity" to
uphold existing laws against sodomy, particularly when sodomites
have a 30 year shorter life expectancy than normal people, and
when our public "schools" (which must be banned) have become bastions to promote
sodomy.

The "Gaying" of America
By Chuck Baldwin
March 20, 2001
A recent Reuters report declared, "More Americans Having Gay Sex, Study
Shows." The article stated, "Positive media images of gay life - like hit TV
shows 'Ellen' and 'Will and Grace' - may be helping spur an increase in gay
sexual activity among Americans, a new study suggests. A national survey has
found the percentage of US women who say they recently had gay sex has
increased 15-fold from 1988 to 1998, with rates among American men doubling
over the same period."
There is no "may be" about it: America has become a breeding ground for
aberrant sexual behavior. Homosexuality currently enjoys social acceptance
not seen since the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, or Pompeii. And there is
nothing on the horizon that suggests that the trend will deescalate anytime
soon.
The current generation of school children is being taught that sexual
perversion is normal, even healthy. Sodomy is not only acceptable; it is
fashionable. Many health "experts" today promote lesbianism as a means of
preventing unwed motherhood and teen pregnancy. They even suggest that
lesbian sex protects girls from acquiring Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD
's). Sex educators today promote the concept that homosexuals are born that
way and, therefore, the only way one can know for sure if they are gay or
not is to experiment with homosexuality.
Even our "conservative" Republican President has given an openly gay
activist a White House office. And rather than returning our military to the
pre-Clinton policies (policies that had been in place since George
Washington was Commander in Chief of our armed forces) that excluded
sodomites from military service, President Bush just last week declared that
his administration would "crack down" on homosexual "harassment" in
the
services.
It is also more than interesting that the man whom Bush selected to be our
ambassador to Canada is a man who superintended over one of America's most
liberal sex education programs, Massachusetts Governor, Paul Cellucci. Under
Cellucci's leadership, the state sex education program actually taught
14-year old children how to engage in homosexual sex. But by today's
standards of tolerance and diversity, this is hardly considered
inappropriate, even by "conservatives."
Adding to the politically correct acceptance of homosexuality is the fact
that many governmental agencies and major corporations offer insurance
benefits to these same-sex fornicators, thereby giving them the cultural
approbation that heretofore had been reserved for married couples. It is
also common for courts to routinely grant child custody to homosexuals. And
even many mainline Protestant churches perform same-sex "union" ceremonies,
trying to give the appearance of divine acceptance.
However, if history teaches us anything, it teaches us that any nation or
society that fully embraces aberrant sexual behavior has entered its final
days of existence. From the Canaanites to the Roman Empire, every culture
that openly accepted homosexuality has been destroyed. The United States
will not be the exception.
America will not be preserved by tax cuts or lower interest rates, but by a
national recommitment to the great moral principles given by God. In the
final analysis, America will be judged not by her politics or commercial
enterprise, but by her faith and fidelity.

Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their earts to
sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies to one another. They exchanged the truth
of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator--who is
forever praised. Amen. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lust. Even their
women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also
abondoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another.
Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penality
for their perversion.
Lev 20:13 : If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of

Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor

Lord to pay any vow, because the Lord your God detest them both.
1Kings 14:24 : There

practices of the nations of Lord had driven out before the Israelities.
1Kings 15:12 : He expelled the
male shrine prostitutes from the land and got rid of all the idols his fathers had made.
Deut 22:5 : A woman must not
wear men's clothing, nor a man wear women's clothing, for the Lord your God detests anyone
who does this.
Gen 19:1-11,24-29 : The
Destruction of Sodom and Gomarrah The two angels arrived at Sodom in the evening, and Lot
was sitting in the gateway of the city. When he saw them, he got up to meet
them and bowed down with his face to the ground. "My Lords," he said
"please turn aside to your servant's house. You can wash your feet and spend the
night and then go on your way early in the morning." "No," they
answered, "we will spend the night in the square" But he insisted so strongly
that they did go with im and entered his house. He prepared a meal for them, baking bread
without yeast, and they ate. Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every
part of the city of Sodom - both young and old - surrounded the house. They called
to Lot, "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we
can have sex with them." Lot went outside to meet them and shut the door behind
him and said, "No, my friends. Don't do this wicked thing. Look, I have two
daughters who have never slept with a man. Let me bring them out to you, and you can
do what you like with them. But don't do anything to these men, for they have come under
the protection of my roof." "Get out of our way," they replied. And
they said, "This fellow came here as an alien, and now he wants to play the judge!
We'll treat you worse than them." They kept bringing pressure on Lot and moved
forward to break down the door. But the men inside resached out and pulled Lot back into
the house and shut the door. Then they struck the men who were at the door of the
house, young and old, with blindness so that they could not find the door.........(verse
24begins) Then the Lord rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah --
from the Lord out of the heavens. Thus he overthrew those cities and the entire
plain, including all those living in the cities -- and also the vegetation in the
land. But Lot's wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt. Early the next
morning Abraham got up and returned to the place where he had stood before the Lord.
He looked down toward Sodom and Gomorrah, toward all the land of the plain, and he saw
dense smoke rising from the land, like smoke from a furnance. So When God destoryed the
cities of the plain, he remembered Abraham, and he brought Lot out of the catastrophe that
overthrew the cities where Lot had lived.
286. (a) Sodomy is sexual conduct consisting of contact between the
penis of one person and the anus of another person. Any sexual
penetration, however slight, is sufficient to complete the crime of
sodomy.
(b) (1) Except as provided in Section 288, any person who
participates in an act of sodomy with another person who is under 18
years of age shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison,
or in a county jail for not more than one year.
(2) Except as provided in Section 288, any person over the age of
21 years who participates in an act of sodomy with another person who
is under 16 years of age shall be guilty of a felony.
(c) (1) Any person who participates in an act of sodomy with
another person who is under 14 years of age and more than 10 years
younger than he or she shall be punished by imprisonment in the state
prison for three, six, or eight years.
(2) Any person who commits an act of sodomy when the act is

duress, menace, or fear of immediate and unlawful bodily injury on
the victim or another person shall be punished by imprisonment in the
state prison for three, six, or eight years.
(3) Any person whom commits an act of sodomy where the act is
accomplished against the victim's will by threatening to retaliate in
the future against the victim or any other person, and there is a
reasonable possibility that the perpetrator will execute the threat
shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison for three, six,
or eight years.
(d) Any person who, while voluntarily acting in concert with
another person, either personally or aiding and abetting that other
person, commits an act of sodomy when the act is accomplished against
the victim's will by means of force or fear of immediate and
unlawful bodily injury on the victim or another person or where the
act is accomplished against the victim's will by threatening to
retaliate in the future against the victim or any other person, and
there is a reasonable possibility that the perpetrator will execute
the threat shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison for
five, seven, or nine years.
(e) Any person who participates in an act of sodomy with any
person of any age while confined in any state prison, as defined in
Section 4504, or in any local detention facility, as defined in
Section 6031.4, shall be punished by imprisonment in the state
prison, or in a county jail for not more than one year.
(f) Any person who commits an act of sodomy, and the victim is at
the time unconscious of the nature of the act and this is known to
the person committing the act, shall be punished by imprisonment in
the state prison for three, six, or eight years. As used in this
subdivision, "unconscious of the nature of the act" means incapable
of resisting because the victim meets one of the following
conditions:
(1) Was unconscious or asleep.
(2) Was not aware, knowing, perceiving, or cognizant that the act
occurred.
(3) Was not aware, knowing, perceiving, or cognizant of the
essential characteristics of the act due to the perpetrator's fraud
in fact.
(g) Except as provided in subdivision (h), a person who commits an
act of sodomy, and the victim is at the time incapable, because of a
mental disorder or developmental or physical disability, of giving
legal consent, and this is known or reasonably should be known to the
person committing the act, shall be punished by imprisonment in the
state prison for three, six, or eight years. Notwithstanding the
existence of a conservatorship pursuant to the Lanterman-Petris-Short
Act (Part 1 (commencing with Section 5000) of Division 5 of the
Welfare and Institutions Code), the prosecuting attorney shall prove,
as an element of the crime, that a mental disorder or developmental
or physical disability rendered the alleged victim incapable of
giving consent.
(h) Any person who commits an act of sodomy, and the victim is at
the time incapable, because of a mental disorder or developmental or
physical disability, of giving legal consent, and this is known or
reasonably should be known to the person committing the act, and both
the defendant and the victim are at the time confined in a state
hospital for the care and treatment of the mentally disordered or in
any other public or private facility for the care and treatment of
the mentally disordered approved by a county mental health director,
shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison, or in a county
jail for not more than one year. Notwithstanding the existence of a
conservatorship pursuant to the Lanterman-Petris-Short Act (Part 1
(commencing with Section 5000) of Division 5 of the Welfare and
Institutions Code), the prosecuting attorney shall prove, as an
element of the crime, that a mental disorder or developmental or
physical disability rendered the alleged victim incapable of giving
legal consent.
(i) Any person who commits an act of sodomy, where the victim is
prevented from resisting by an intoxicating or anesthetic substance,
or any controlled substance, and this condition was known, or
reasonably should have been known by the accused, shall be punished
by imprisonment in the state prison for three, six, or eight years.
(j) Any person who commits an act of sodomy, where the victim
submits under the belief that the person committing the act is the
victim's spouse, and this belief is induced by any artifice,
pretense, or concealment practiced by the accused, with intent to
induce the belief, shall be punished by imprisonment in the state
prison for three, six, or eight years.
(k) Any person who commits an act of sodomy, where the act is
accomplished against the victim's will by threatening to use the
authority of a public official to incarcerate, arrest, or deport the
victim or another, and the victim has a reasonable belief that the
perpetrator is a public official, shall be punished by imprisonment
in the state prison for three, six, or eight years.
As used in this subdivision, "public official" means a person
employed by a governmental agency who has the authority, as part of
that position, to incarcerate, arrest, or deport another. The
perpetrator does not actually have to be a public official.
(l) As used in subdivisions (c) and (d), "threatening to retaliate"
means a threat to kidnap or falsely imprison, or inflict extreme
pain, serious bodily injury, or death.
(m) In addition to any punishment imposed under this section, the
judge may assess a fine not to exceed seventy dollars ($70) against
any person who violates this section, with the proceeds of this fine
to be used in accordance with Section 1463.23. The court, however,
shall take into consideration the defendant's ability to pay, and no
defendant shall be denied probation because of his or her inability
to pay the fine permitted under this subdivision.

What's different? The sin or your toleration of the

What if your family member were a confessed murderer or

>He used to be Christian and attended church

Is it really? It seems that the man Paul spoke of in 1
Cor 5:1, who was having illegitimate sex, was a faithful church attender in Corinth also. But Paul demanded the church in Corinth put away that wicked person (1 Cor 5:13).
Was Paul being "UN" Christian?
>We as Christians are NOT to judge others.
What do you do with Christ saying to judge righteously
(John 7:24)? Or Paul's saying to: turn away from evil people (2 Tim 3:2-5),
avoid those who go contrary to doctrine (Rom 16:17), withdraw oneself from
those that walk not as he's been taught (2 Thes 3:6), have no company with
one that refuses to do as he was taught (2 Thes 3:14), count such a person as
an enemy(2 Thes 3:7) and reject a person that refuses to repent of his
sin (1 Tit 3:10)? Or John's admonition to not receive one that
strays from the truth (2 John 1:10)

Where is that in the Scriptures? Do you think the Bible
is wrong where it says God hates those that live in sin (Psalms 5:5)?

Do you really think you could change such a person?
>isn't that judging him as being wrong, sinful or an

Was Jesus, Paul and John wrong to say Christians should
recognize evil doers and avoid them? Does not John say if you even bid
such a one God speed you're a partaker in that persons sins (2 John 1:11)? Does not Paul say to reprove those living in sin and to have no fellowship
with them (Eph 5:11)?
>Never would I call someone I love an abomination.
Not even if God does?
>That is not for me to say as that is a judgment on my

How can you follow Christ's admonition to judge righteous
judgment if you don't judge? Do you not think that God has already made
the judgment on sins, e.g., homosexuality?

ends ancestral lineages, spreads diseases, is consumed with self
gratification and causes very early death is a sin? Remember the
wages of sin is death and the average male homosexual has about a 30 year less life
span than a heterosexual. The homosexual way of existing is a death
style. It doesn't continue bringing life into the world, spreads diseases that
cause death even to non-homosexuals (remember Kimberly Bergalis?) and
shortens the participants own life. God's Law is life (Pro 6:23), not death.
>God created all peoples and NONE are perfect.
That's right and they are commanded to repent regardless of
how they say they are born. Some pedophiles, alcoholics &
murderers (serial killers) say they were born that way. Do you believe just being
born a certain way negates what God labels as sin?
>In spite of what the scripture says, I have to wonder at
a God who would >call a physical act, an abomination,
Do you call murder an abomination? That's a physical
act!
>IF it is done between two consenting adults.
So do you think it was OK for Jack Kevorkian to murder all
those consenting adults?
> While I do think the homosexuality lifestyle is
not conducive to a > harmonious life, I now know of two separate instances
where there are two > homosexual couples who are happily committed to each
other, long term, > and without complication from being homosexual".
Does that make sin any less a sin? And how do you know
this? They told you or you heard it? Just because you think people are
happy doing things that God calls wrong, what does that prove? Didn't
Christ say men love darkness because their deeds are evil (John 3:19). Being happy in sin is nothing new. The carnal mind is not subject to God's
Law (Rom 8:7).
>The Christian in me recoils at homosexuality because I've
been conditioned >to regard it as revolting, by scripture.
Considering the make up of the male and female body and the
purposes they were created for, do you think same sex relationships are
natural? If not, can you say you don't recoil at the thought of homosexuality
because of the Law of God on your heart?
>The LOVE in me is blind, and refuses to see the
"sin".
Perhaps you've been conditioned by the media to believe such
a thing?
>I love the person anyway.
What is love?
>Is this not what Jesus wants us to do and be?
God's word said to love good and hate evil (Rom 12:9).
> Loving and non-judgmental?
Do you think these two conditions can co-exist per the Bible?
>Aren't we supposed to love our neighbor as we love
ourselves?
Yes! That's what God told the Israelites (Lev 19:18) just before He told them to put homosexuals to death (Lev 20:13).
Thanks,
<snip>
Only if by "just nations" you mean "African". Laws regarding
sodomy between two males:
Mayrutania illegal; punishable by death
Nigeria illegal; punishable by death
Sudan illegal; punishable by death
Afghanistan illegal; punishable by death
Pakistan illegal; punishable by death
Iran illegal; punishable by death
Saudi Arabia illegal; punishable by death
United Arab Emirates illegal; punishable by death
Yemen illegal; punishable by death
However, examining some of the, um, blonder regions of the
Earth, we find:
Austria legal since 2002; male-male age of consent is 14.
Australia legal everywhere by Federal action since 1994;
age of male-male consent varies from 14 to 21.
Germany legal in W. Germany since 1969, East since 1989;
male-male age of consent is 14.
Iceland legal; male-male age of consent is 14.
Ireland legal since 1993; male-male age of consent is 17.
Norway legal since 1972; male-male age of consent is 16.
Sweden legal; male-male age of consent is 15.
Switzerland legal since 1992 (by national referendum);
male-male age of consent is 16.
What you IGNORE is that sodomy in these "blonder regions" which USED to be just
nations was ILLEGAL for the 2,000 years prior to the time the JEWS got there and perverted
the law. You also ignore that ALL crime rates in just nations which continued to UPHOLD
GOD'S LAW, like Iran, Saudi Arabia, and UAE, are MUCH lower than ours, simply because they
DO follow God's Law.
Our failure to uphold God's Law doesn't come from we the people--it comes from JEWS who
Jesus WARNED weren't even people:
John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was
a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in
him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of
it.
John 8:48 Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a
Samaritan, and hast a devil?
Children of the devil are not people. Permitting jews to even BE here is a violation of
God's Word and Jesus' commandment. OF COURSE permitting jews into the country would result
in a resident of DC being FOUR HUNDRED TIMES [400X] MORE LIKELY TO BE MURDERED than a
citizen of Saudia Arabia or Iran or Iraq or the UAE, with nary a sound byte.
So how do the jews in the "white" house "solve" the problem? THEY BOMB
IRAQ TO RAISE THE CRIME RATE THERE, rather than reducing the crime rate HERE.
What should happen to "teachers" who "teach" our White children that
sodomy is a "right"? Send 'em to Iraq and let nature take its course--which ALL
just nations SHOULD do.
It is now legal for gays and lesbians to marry every place in Canada. There is
no residency requirement for Canadian marriage, but that does not mean a
Canadian gay marriage will be recognized by other countries.
How to Get Married in Canada
Europe
Sweden became the seventh country to legalize same-sex marriage on April 1,
2009. Marriage licenses for same-sex couples became available beginning May 1,
2009. Couples who are currently in civil partnership can chose to keep that
status or have it amended to marriage.
Norway became the sixth country to legalize same-sex marriage on May 11, 2008.
Netherlands (Holland) has full marriage and registered partnership rights for
same sex or opposite sex couples.
Belgium in 2003 became the second country in the world to allow gay and lesbian
couples to marry. Since 2006, gay and lesbian couples have been allowed to adopt
children.
Spain voted in June 2005 to extend full marriage rights to gay and lesbian
citizens. The measure adds one sentence to existing Spanish marriage law:
Marriage will have the same requirements and results when the two people
entering into the contract are of the same sex or of different sexes.
Portugal became the sixth European country to allow same-sex marriage with a
law passed by parliament in January 2010 and signed by the president in May.
Although same-sex marriage is now legal in Portugal, same-sex couples are not
allowed to adopt children.
Iceland began to allow same-sex marriage in June 2010.
Africa
South Africa legalized gay marriage on November 30th, 2006. South Africa has
one of the most inclusive constitutions in the world, calling for equal rights
for gays and lesbians.
The United States
In the United States gays and lesbians can legally marry in [six states] New
Hampshire, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Iowa, and Vermont, and
Washington, DC.
California
With the passage of Prop 8, gay and lesbian couples who were married between
June and November 2008 are still legally married, but no new legal marriages can
be performed in California.
Where can gays and lesbians get civil unions or domestic partnerships?
Central/South America
Mexico City, Mexico allows same-sex couples all the rights and responsibilities
of marriage since March 2010, including the right to adopt children. By law,
marriages entered into in Mexico City must be recognized elsewhere in the

Argentina legalized same-sex marriage in July 2010.
Alleged Victims Mother: Jerry Sandusky Admitted It
"To My Face" 13 Years Ago
The Patriot-News of Harrisburg (PennLive.com)
has done yeoman's work covering the Penn State scandal. Sara Ganim, a
reporter for the paper, has been the most dogged in ferreting out details,
and her
story today managed to get comments from the mothers of two of Jerry
Sandusky's alleged sexual assault victims. Both women are understandably
outraged at Penn State officials.
The first is the one whose son, identified in
the summary of the grand jury indictment as Victim 1, came forward two
years ago with the allegations that triggered the grand jury's
investigation. The second is the mother of Victim 6, whose complaint led to
an investigation by university and municipal police in 1998an inquiry that
resulted in no criminal charges against Sandusky. According to the grand
jury summary, Victim 6's mother even spoke to Sandusky on two occasions
while a pair of detectives eavesdropped. And it was during one of those
conversations that Sandusky answered, "I don't think so ... maybe," when the
mother asked him point-blank if he had touched her son's "private parts" in
a shower.
The mother of Victim 1:
A few weeks before her son broke down and confessed to a principal at
Central Mountain High School in Clinton County that he was being
molested by Jerry Sanduskya volunteer football coach at his high
schoolhis mother began to suspect something was wrong.
First, it was because her son was acting out. When she grounded him,
she said Sandusky demanded he be able to "take care of it."
"I said, No way, he's my kid,'" she said.
Then, her son began asking her about an online database for "sex
weirdos."
"You don't want to just accuse people of that," the mother said. "I
called the school principal and the guidance counselor and said, if
nothing else, he's taking my son out of classes. He's leaving the school
with him. ... So I asked them to call him into the office and ask [my
son] how he felt.
"They did call him to the office that day and I remember [the
principal] was in tears and she said, You need to come here right
away.'"
Her son, then 15, broke down and told them what happened.
The mother of Victim 6:
When the mother confronted Sandusky, he said: "I understand. I was
wrong. I wish I could get forgiveness. I know I won't get it from you. I
wish I were dead," according the presentment from the grand jury.
An investigator for Children and Youth Services broke the news to the
mother: It was all a big mistake, the mother said she was told. The
police officer who investigated won't comment. Neither will the former
police chief.
"Jerry Sandusky admitted to my face, he admitted it," the mother
said. "He admitted that he lathered up my son they were naked and he
bear-hugged him. If they would have done something about it in 1998, and
then again in 2002there was two chances they dropped the ball and I
think they should all be held accountable."
Her son, she said, can't stop thinking about Victim One.
Another bizarre twist: Ray Gricar, the Centre County district attorney at
the time of the 1998 investigation into Victim 6's allegations, has been
missing since 2005 and was
declared legally dead in July of this year. We may never know why Gricar
did not press charges against Sandusky, despite Sandusky's admissionsper
the grand jury reportthat he had showered naked with the boy and hugged
him. The hard drive from Gricar's computer turned up on the banks of the
Susquehanna River six months after his disappearance, according to
this story Ganim wrote three years ago, when she was still at the State
College, Pa.-based Centre County Daily Times. Whatever was on that
hard drive will forever be the subject of speculation now.
Ganim's story about the victims' mothers can be read in its entirety
here. For an archive of all of her work on the scandal, go
here. The
Patriot-News also published a front-page editorial today calling
for Joe Paterno and Penn State President Graham Spanier to step aside. That
can be found
here.
Do you know what Liberia, Taiwan, CHINA, Japan, Cyprus, Greece, Sweden, Denmark,
Finland, Indonesia, Tajikistan, Algeria, Lithuania, Mongolia, Norway, New
Zealand, Pakistan, Romania, Serbia, and Uzbekistan ALL have in common? They are
the countries which have recorded NO cases of HIV. They are ALSO the countries
with the FEWEST AIDS carrying, child abusing
Catholic priests who openly promote legalized gay marriage.
Do you know what Estonia, the Dominican Republic, Panama, El Salvador, the US,
Argentina, Colombia, Spain, France, Peru, Costa Rica, Italy, Luxembourg, and
Paraguay ALL have in common? They are the countries with the HIGHEST rates of
HIV. They are ALSO the countries with the HIGHEST percent of AIDS carrying,
child abusing Catholic priests who openly promote legalized gay marriage.
Do you know what the District of Columbia, New York, New Jersey, California,
Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, Delaware, and Rhode Island all have in
common? They were the states in 1993 who had a rate of AIDS deaths which was up
to 100 TIMES higher than many other states. Do you know what ELSE they ALL had
in common? They were the STATES with the HIGHEST percent of AIDS carrying, child
abusing Catholic priests who openly promote legalized gay marriage.
Do you know what Mississippi, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana,
Alaska, Idaho, Kentucky, West Virginia, Alabama, Arkansas, South Carolina, and
Tennessee ALL have in common? They ALL had very low AIDS death rates, with
Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana reporting NO AIDS cases. And you
guessed it. They were ALSO the states with the LOWEST percentage of AIDS
carrying, child abusing Catholic priests who openly promote legalized gay
marriage.
Which six states STILL have the utterly highest AIDS death rates? The very six
states (New Hampshire, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Iowa, and Vermont,
PLUS Washington, DC.) which just legalized gay marriage, thus giving AIDS deaths
a government stamp of approval, are ALSO the states with AIDS death rates as
much as FORTY TIMES HIGHER than non-Catholic states.
Obama Supports Gays, LOSES 10% of Voters
By Paul West
May 15,
2012
WASHINGTON -- Its been one week since
President Obama, prodded into action by Vice President
Joe Bidens remarks on a Sunday
talk show, granted
Robin Roberts of
ABC News an interview in which he revealed his personal policy shift on
gay marriage. Whether or not Obamas decision, and the way it was handled
politically, will make a difference on election
day is still anyones guess and may always be. Parsing reactions by
millions of individual voters, particularly on an issue that ranks far below
other concerns for most Americans, obviously involves a measure of
guesswork.
That said, the first wave of polling is in, and the results arent looking
particularly good for Obama. Taken together, four different national opinion
surveys over the past week, by reputable organizations with good track
records, indicate that the presidents stand could well hurt him
politically. Unsurprisingly, the numbers are fairly close; but as often gets
pointed out, tight elections are decided by small numbers of votes.
Perhaps the most encouraging sign for Obama comes from a new
ABC/Washington Post poll, which found that independent swing voters had
a slightly more favorable than unfavorable view of his position (though the
results were a statistical tie, given the margin of error for that
subgroup). ABCs analysis, by statistician Damla Ergun of Langer Research
Associates, pointed out that independents who reacted most strongly to the
decision tilted against it, and that strong sentiment can better predict
voter turnout and vote preferences.
A
Gallup poll found that the overall change in public opinion was a net
minus for Obama, though the organization cautioned that these results could
change, depending on the degree to which same-sex marriage is, or is not, a
campaign issue in the fall.
The latest
New York Times/CBS poll showed that 26% of voters were less likely to
support Obama as a result of his announcement, compared with 16% who said
they were more likely to support him. But the small overall sample size and
the lack of any valid sub-group data make those numbers fairly useless for
purposes of predicting voter behavior. The poll did find, however, that a
clear majority of Americans regarded Obamas declaration of support for
same-sex marriage as largely a political move, which doesnt help him at
all.
A fourth poll, by the independent
Pew Research Center, found that 25% of Americans felt less favorably
toward Obama, while 19% felt more favorably, as a result of his shift. But
among independents, there was no measurable change. Nineteen percent
regarded him more favorably, 19% less favorably, and 60% said the decision
had no effect.
These numbers are only secondarily about overall attitudes toward the issue
of gay marriage. The New York Times poll, for instance, found that 38% of
Americans favor allowing gays and lesbians to marry, though longer-term
trends continue to move in the direction of overall public acceptance.
Theres also a reasonable argument to be made that those opposed to gay
marriage were never particularly disposed to vote for the presidents
re-election, and that his decision will continue to energize his supporters
(though it also is having the same effect for evangelicals who might have
been cool to
Mitt Romney because of his Mormon faith).
Overall, the poll data, particularly among voters in the middle who
typically decide close elections, would seem to validate Obamas earlier
decision to avoid endorsing same-sex marriage prior to Nov. 6. These new
poll numbers also should encourage at least a measure of skepticism toward
claims, by the presidents aides and advisers after he decided to make the
announcement, that Obama was planning to support gay marriage all along,
just not until later in the campaign. At the very least, there remains a
question about the degree to which a final, irreversible decision had been
made.
Below are excerpts from releases by some of the polling organizations:
Gallup/USA Today: A key to assessing how the change in
Obama's view of same-sex marriage will affect his vote share this fall would
be to look at its effect on independents, and on
Democrats and
Republicans whose views are different from the majority of their party.
Specifically, 23% of independents and 10% of Democrats say it makes them
less likely to vote for Obama, while a smaller 11% of independents and 2% of
Republicans say it makes them more likely to vote for Obama. Those figures
suggest Obama's gay marriage position is likely to cost him more independent
and Democratic votes than he would gain in independent and Republican votes,
clearly indicating that his new position is more of a net minus than a net
plus for him. However, those figures also underscore that it is a relatively
limited group of voters -- about one in three independents and fewer than
one in 10 Republicans or Democrats -- whose votes may change as a result of
Obama's new stance on gay marriage.
It is important to note that the poll's results give a sense of Americans'
immediate reactions to Obama's position. It is possible that the impact of
Obama's same-sex marriage position will ultimately be greater or lesser,
depending on the attention paid to the same-sex marriage issue during the
duration of the presidential campaign.
(Gallup/USA Today poll was based on telephone interviews conducted May 10,
on the Gallup Daily tracking survey, with a random sample of 1,013 adults,
ages 18 and older, living in all 50 U.S. states and the District of
Columbia)
ABC News/Washington Post: Some elements of the political
equation are clear. Seventy percent of Democrats view Obamas declaration
favorably; 76% of Republicans respond negatively. But swing-voting
independents tell a more mixed story: On one hand, they tilt slightly more
favorably than unfavorably overall, 49% to 43%. On the other, somewhat more
independents respond strongly negatively, 35%, than strongly positively, 26%
and strong sentiment can better predict voter turnout and vote
preferences.
(Survey was conducted by landline and cellphone May 9-13 among a random
national sample of 1,008 adults.)
CBS News/New York Times: Does Barack Obamas support of
same-sex marriage make you more likely to vote for him, less likely to vote
for him, or wouldnt it affect how you will vote one way or another?
More likely16%
Less likely26%
No effect57%
Nationwide telephone survey of 615 adults, conducted May 11-13.

Dear
Marriage Supporter,
The
fallout from Pres. Obama's flip-flop on marriage continues. Sixty-two percent of
Americans say, in a new Fox News poll, that it was just a political decision on
Obama's part (including a plurality of Democrats, 46 percent to 38 percent).
If so,
it was a very bad one.
As NOM's
political consultant Frank Schubert told California's influential insider
Flash Report:
"After months of very carefully managing expectations about his 'evolving'
position on gay marriage, President Obama suddenly found himself last week
careening between powerful forces like the steel ball in Elton John's 'pinball
wizard.' His own Vice President threw him into the pinball machine, and then his
Education Secretary thrust the plunger, launching him into game."
"...The left is jumping for joy at their accomplishment, forcing President Obama
out of the closet on gay marriage. Their celebration will be short-lived,
though, because they have very likely cost him the presidency."
A
NYT/CBS news poll
showed that a whopping 40 percent of Americans said Pres. Obama's endorsement of
gay marriage would affect their vote. Among independents, by a 2-1 margin they
said it would make them less likely to vote for Obama.
As
Katrina Trinko of National Review put it, "It looks like Barack Obama's decision
to support gay marriage is hurting him in the polls."
In one
congressional district in Arkansas, according to a new poll, Obama is leading a
virtually unknown candidate (with no funds) by only seven points, 45 to 38
percent, in the Democratic primary. "The president's policies are wildly
unpopular in a party which has historically supported mainstream Democrats like
Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton," says Republican state representative David
Sanders. "He's got some major problems, I think. A lot of it is driven by his
new position on marriage."
North Carolina is so important to the re-election chances of Barack Obama that
he picked Charlotte as the host city for the Democratic nominating convention.
On May 8, all his careful plans came crashing down when 61% of voters in a North
Carolina referendum adopted a constitutional amendment defining marriage as the
union of one man and one woman.
...Obama's embrace of same-sex marriage will help ensure he becomes a one-term
president, and his political demise will begin with North Carolina.
Our
victory for marriage was so impressive that the prominent Democratic firm Public
Policy Polling sent out this Twitter missive as the results came in: "Hate to
say it, but I don't believe polls showing majority support for gay marriage
nationally. Any time there's a vote, it doesn't back it up."
Other
pollsters and polling experts are beginning to admit the obvious: It's easy to
rig polls to get Americans to say they support gay marriage. But those polls do
not reflect the real underlying support for gay marriage.
When
offered the "out" of civil unions, for example, just 37 percent of Americans say
they support gay marriage in the Fox New polls. This doesn't mean they are
actually for civil unions, as the North Carolina vote makes clear. It means they
want a way to express support for marriage without expressing hatred towards gay
people as human beings, with real, genuine civil rights.
The
media is not acknowledging that marriage supporters don't reject being
respectful and civil towards gay peoplethat's very clear. The Dan Savages of
the world have reduced any expression of disagreement with gay marriage to the
status of hateful, ignorant and bigoted assaults on gay people. The most
committed stand up to the pressure.
The
mushy and uncomfortable middle tells fibs to pollsters, who are then repeatedly
and predictably surprised by election results.
The same
week that Pres. Obama endorsed gay marriage, the vitriol and hatred directed as
people who oppose his marriage flip broke out into the news media in two
different ways.
Young
Bristol Palin innocently blogged against Pres. Obama's marriage flip-flop,
especially the way he cited his children as his moral authorities in the
matter. The result, she says, is a torrent of hatred and death threats.
"People
claim they're just trying to protect the right of two people to love each
othera right I don't contest, by the wayand then spew the worst words
imaginable at someone they disagree with," Palin, the eldest daughter of former
Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, writes. "If the agenda is love, why do you hate so
intensely?"
Near the
bottom of the post, Palin displays some of the worst feedback she's received,
including death wishes against her and her family.
"You
all, including your son, deserve a slow, painful and miserable death," one
commenter wrote. "Your backwards thinking is so sad because the world is moving
forward and you will certainly be left behind. May death be upon you."
Palin
wonders why her remarksin which she criticized President Obama for consulting
his daughters about gay marriageprompted such nasty backlash.
(The
Palin flap prompted our co-founder Maggie Gallagher to blog, "Unwed Moms for Marriage Unite!"
on the Corner at National Review.)
Popular
pro-wrestler C.M. Punk himself blogged death wishes to his fans who opposed his
endorsement of gay marriage after our great win in North Carolina, according to
LifeSite News:
To one objecting fan Punk replied, "Kill yourself." He told another supporter of
the nuclear family to "drink bleach."
...In another tweet, Punk castigated the amendment's supporters as "So many
stupid people. Bigots."
I was
perhaps most shocked by the news that a Hollywood shopping mall has banned the
world's greatest boxer, Manny Pacquiao, from appearing on its propertybecause he spoke out against gay
marriage.
(The
press falsely reported he had wished death to gay people, which he quickly
denied and the reporter who interviewed him confirmed.)
Our Next

Savages of the world. You can hear it here:

The
press did not report it, but NOM was at the Bank of America's annual shareholder
meeting, which took place in Charlotte, NC one day after the great victory for
marriage there.
Bank of
America is the company which fired Frank Turek for having written a book
opposing gay marriage:
After
NOM sent a letter to the board, the corporation sent a letter back making it
clear that firing people for their views for or against gay marriage was against
company policy, for which we thank them.
In
Charlotte, we asked the company to make this policy clear to all their
employeesand their bosses. Thomas Strobhar introduced from the floor this
shareholder resolution:
Freedom of Speech Resolution
Whereas, the Bank of America Corporate Social Responsibility Report of 2010
says, "Employees with diverse backgrounds and perspectives enrich our business,
engage us to better serve our customers and make us a better community partner."
Whereas, the Bank of America Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action
Statement states it recruits and hires candidates without regard to race,
religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, age, national
origin, ancestry, citizenship, veteran status, marital status, medical condition
or disability.
Whereas, we do not offer similar assurances of non-discrimination to job
candidates or employees who publicly speak out on issues of concern to them.
Whereas, by not providing free speech safeguards we potentially deprive our
company of the unique intellectual heritage, characteristics and perspectives
each person brings to the job.
Resolved, the shareholders request the Equal Employment Opportunity and
Affirmative Action Statement specifically include protection to engage in free
speech.
This is
the start of something big!
What
happened to Manny Pacquiao is an example of the mismatch in our laws and
policies at the moment. He was banned from shopping at a Hollywood mall because
he opposes gay marriage.
Huh?
Well, I
suppose the world's greatest boxer will get over that and shop somewhere else.
But I
know of no one, not a single person who opposes gay marriage, who would support
banning gay people or gay-marriage advocates from appearing at shopping malls.
Meanwhile, at Liberty College, Gov. Mitt Romney received thunderous applause for
speaking up for marriage from tens of thousands of young people the media never
interviews: Watch it for yourself!
In his
new column, Patrick Buchanan points out that Pres. Obama has only one pathway to
deliver on gay marriage:
the Supreme Court.
"But Obama needs one more justice. If elected, he will get it, and same-sex
marriage will be forced on all of America. If Romney wins, the Supreme Court
will likely leave the issue of same-sex marriage to be decided by the people and
their elected representatives."
