Yawhew's Whirlwind - Part 1

The Whirlwind of the Lord, by Wilfred Marks, Jr.: Question has been asked by many concerning the conflict in the former Yugoslavia. Particularly, if it has any bearing on Bible prophecy. We believe it does and will try to offer some views to that end.

First: One wondered just who are the people involved in the conflict. To answer that will first require a brief history of that region.

Like the Middle East, the Balkan region is a crossroads between different races and cultures. For those of us who accept the message concerning the identity of modern-day Israel with the Anglo-Saxon, Germanic, Celtic and kindred peoples, it is plain to see that the area of Eastern Europe is directly in the path that the House of Israel would have taken during their migrations following the Assyrian Captivity.

In 721 B.C., the Assyrian empire carried the House of Israel (as well as most of the House of Judah) into captivity. In so doing, Israel was deported from Palestine to the area north of the Caspian Sea (referred to as "Arsareth" in 2 Esdras 13:46). From that area, they migrated over the course of centuries through Europe to where (nationally) they became concentrated in the British Isles, Germany, and other European countries...

Pockets of people descended from Israel are scattered in many nations throughout Western Europe and Eastern Europe in places like the Balkans, as well as areas of European Russia; most notably the Ukraine.

But in crossroads areas like the Balkans, different invaders brought different customs and religions which have been imposed upon that region. For instance, the area of Kosovo is termed to be mostly Muslim. But, in fact, the people in Kosovo (unlike the Arab population of the Middle East) became Muslim not so much by choice but as the result of invasion.

The majority of strife in the Balkans stems from the split of the Roman Empire between the Western Empire with its capital in Rome, and the Eastern Empire which became known as the Byzantine Empire. The Eastern Empire was founded in 324 A.D., when the Roman Emperor, Constantine the Great, made the city of Byzantinium his new capital and changed the city's name to Constantinople (now modern-day Istanbul in Turkey).

The Eastern (Byzantine) Empire survived the fall of the Western (Roman) Empire. Rome, however, was revived under the power of the papacy. But from the 8th century on, a growing division between the Roman Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox Church based in Constantinople was taking place. The split became permanent after what is called the "Great Schism" in 1054 A.D.

In 1202 A.D., Pope Innocent III authorized the Fourth Crusade during which Constantinople was captured (April 13, 1204) and pillaged. The crusaders had traveled through the Balkans on their way to Constantinople, but not before attacking the city of Zara in the province of Dalmatia (present day Croatia).

In 1261 the Greeks recaptured Constantinople and the Eastern Empire recovered until 1452 when the Ottoman Turkish Empire captured the city and pressed north into the Balkans establishing Islam as the new religion. Thus, in the Balkans you have three religions in play: Roman Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy and Islam; each with different provinces within the Balkans favoring one or another religion as different empires held sway.

The name Yugoslavia (first adopted in 1929) means "land of the south Slavs." The Slavs were originally Asian and migrated to portions of Eastern Europe long before the House of Israel began moving through that region as the Slavic languages are found in Europe before 1000 B.C. In "Primogenesis" by Mr. Howard Rand, we are told concerning the descendants of Noah's son Japheth: "The descendants of Japheth spread out and inhabited the coasts and isles of the sea. (Tarshish was one of Japheth's descendants). This would include the coast of Europe; also Rhodes, Cyprus, Armenia and north and south of both the Caspian and Black Seas. The Hebrew race eventually came into contact with the descendants of Japheth after the fall of the Kingdoms of Israel and Judah; particularly the House of Israel as they migrated across central and southern Europe." (Howard Rand, Primogenesis, p. 665, Plate 3)

So perhaps there is a connection between the descendants of Japheth and the ancient Slavic people. At any rate, the Slavic peoples living in Eastern Europe were conquered by the Huns in the late 4th century A.D. When the Hun Empire dissolved after Attila's death in 453 A.D., many of the Slavic peoples, now free, began to migrate into the Balkans in the 6th century A.D., where they began to evolve into a grouping of different kingdoms.

The Croatian kingdom became established in the 10th century and was(and is) strongly Roman Catholic. In 1089 A.D., it became part of Hungary and after 1527 was ruled by the Habsburgs of the Austro- Hungarian Empire. Closely associated with Croatia is Slovenia. It became strongly attached to the Holy Roman Empire and became ruled by the Austrian Habsburgs in the 13th century until World War I.

The next major group are the Serbs. Also a Slavic people, they settled the area in the 7th century and fell under the influence of the Eastern (Byzantine) Empire. Serbia's rulers converted to Eastern Orthodox Christianity, and thus Serbia and Russia both are Orthodox Catholic.

The Serbs then became absorbed into the Ottoman Empire until breaking free in 1829. For 500 years Turkish/Islamic rule affected Serbia, yet the Serbs were still able to retain some degree of self-rule.

The next major territory is Bosnia and Herzegovina (usually just called Bosnia). The Austro-Hungarian Empire first held sway; then, during the Ottoman rule, Bosnia's rulers became Muslim, while the peasantry remained Christian.

Like the smaller province of Kosovo where the present crisis is centered, Bosnia is a mixed bag of Slavic peoples divided up between allegiance to Croatia and the Roman Catholic Church; to Serbia and the Eastern Orthodox Church; as well as to Islam.

In Bosnia there is a larger Croat population, but in Kosovo there is a larger "ethnic-Albanian" population which is Islamic in religion. This is because Kosovo (like Albania on its southeast border) is further south than the other Yugoslav provinces and was more greatly affected by the Islamic Ottoman Empire.

It has been these "mixed bag" provinces in the former Yugoslavia where the major problems have occurred. It was in the Bosnian city of Sarajevo where the Archduke of Austria was assassinated on June 28, 1914 (by the Jews -WM), thus leading to World War I. (The real reason for World War I was the Germans were planning on building a railroad from the Middle East to Germany and this the Jews could not have, as it would interfere with their control of trade in both areas -WM)

During World War I, Croatia being part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and Bosnia being mostly Islamic fought on the side of the Axis powers. It was the Serbs who fought against Germany. They did the same in World War II when Hitler tried to overrun the Balkans. During that time, the Croatian regime collaborated with the Nazis and many atrocities were committed against the Serbs.

It was the Serbs who led the opposition against Hitler and tied up a considerable amount of German troops in the Balkans during World War II. The Special Office Brief for January 14,1995 commented: "The Bosnian Serbs had the unequivocal support of all Western Liberals before 1914 and between 1914 and 1918. They had it again during the Second World War in particular against the Croats who were enthusiastic Nazis.
Suddenly in 1992 the Bosnian Serbs lost favor with Western Liberals who discovered quite a passion for Moslems and Coats. Quite why no one knows.

This Office advises it to be dangerous to take sides. It could easily lead to a Third World War just as intervention of Russia in 1914 led to the first and that to the second.
No conceivable Atlantic power strategic interest is involved in the Balkans and no humanitarian cause is served by feeding the parties in conflict. It merely prolongs it. Incidentally, certain interests (Jewish interests -WM) make a good deal of money out of  so-called humanitarian exercises. It is a highly profitable business."

Yawhew's Whirlwind - Part 2

Of course, following World War II, Yugoslavia became Communist. The Yugoslavian Communist Party (LCY) was led by Serbian Josip Broz (Tito). Yet, despite being in Russia's Communist bloc territory, Tito was able to keep Yugoslavia independent from Soviet Russia's iron rule.

With Tito's death in 1980, the Yugoslav provinces over which the LCY had been ruling from Belgrade began to break apart along their old religious divisions. First Croatia and Slovenia began to separate. When the Serbian Communist leader, Slobodan Milosevic, opposed, Croatia and Slovenia declared their independence in June 1001 and were recognized as independent nations in January 1992 by the European Union.

Croatia's Serbian minority (backed by the Serbian-led Yugoslav army) opposed the separation, and the present Civil War began.

Bosnia and Herzegovina also declared independence on March 1, 1992, but since Bosnia has more of a mix of Muslim Slavs, Croatians and Serbian- Orthodox Slavs, that region (like Kosovo) has degenerated into a complex and bitter conflict as Serbia wishes to retain control within those areas.

One cannot help but wonder if many of the events in our "wondrous and terrible century" have either been instigated or made worse by those working behind the scenes for world government. And of course this is true, although many will deny it because they are like an Ostriage by hiding their head in the sand they think they will escape the terrible things to come. But in the end they will get their butt shot off just as the rest of the masses. Speaking of the internal troubles that were to befall Israel in the last days, the prophet Joel states: "They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief. The earth shall quake before them: the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining." (Joel 2:9-10)

Writing in 1927 in "Joel's Prophetic Message and Warning." Pastor Howard Rand commented on this passage from Joel: "Succinctly, Joel describes these conditions in Israel as a running to and fro of the enemy in the city. Thus is pictured the power of propaganda within the strongholds of Israel. The prophet also states, ‘They shall run upon the walls.' The walls are the city's means of defense...The prophet likens the success of the subtle propaganda of the enemy to a thief entering a house through its windows. The statesmen and ecclesiastical leaders of the nation have lent their influence to this program of nullifying Israel's means of defense (To the point that we are almost defenseless at the present time - WM) They have been preaching peace and preventing Israel from preparing to defend herself against the day when the enemy assails them. How truly Joel likes the insidious propaganda to a thief stealing our means of security. How scathing the Lord is, through all His prophets, in His denunciation of the leaders who have failed to teach God's laws of military defense and training. Attacked by sword from without, and by propaganda and civil strife from within, Israel finds themselves in a desperate situation  Zechariah tells us the people will walk as blind men, not knowing what to do or where to turn, because they have sinned against the Lord. For this, blood will be poured out as dust, and flesh will be as dung...The confusion and dismay of governments is described in the metaphor of the earth quaking at this time in the land of Israel. The mountains will be thrown down and every wall will fall." (Joel's Prophetic Message and Warning, pp. 33-34)

Confusion certainly is evident in the U.S. policies in Kosovo. Supposedly, we are trying to save the ethnic-Albanians in Kosovo from the evil grip of the Serbs. Yet the U.S./NATO policy opposes Kosovo's independence, because if Kosovo were to break away and gain independence, it would lead to further problems.

As the "Intelligence Digest" for March 26th explained, should Kosovo gain independence, it would likely be welcomed into a merger with Albania. That would destabilize Macedonia where a large Albanian minority population is also wanting to redefine its borders, which in turn would cause problems with Greece and Bulgaria. So the U.S. policy is to keep Kosovo as a part of Yugoslavia.

Such is the irony of the Kosovo war. It is designed to help Kosovo be free from Serbia, without making it free from Serbia.

The Clinton Administration has also opposed arming the KLA (Kosovo Liberation Army) to be able to fight off the Serb forces and protect themselves from being "cleansed." Why?

In part it is because the KLA are ethnic-Albanians (Islamic) ho want to break away from Yugoslavia/Serbia and join with Albania, which as we stated NATO is trying to avoid. The KLA has also done some "ethnic cleansing" of its own.

But could part of the reason be it doesn't fit into the "one world" plan where there is an international UN police force enforcing the global view on any one group that may get out of line? Thus it would be the job of such UN forces, and not the citizenry to carry the guns or to maintain order.

So its seems to be that the only long-term solution for Kosovo is to get NATO "peacekeeping" police force into Kosovo to...well, keep the peace.

The peace is to be in line wit the Rambouillet accords, and supposedly it was Slobodan Milosevic's refusal to sing on to Rambouillet which finally led to the bombing. However, Senator Dan Nickles, in debate over our Kosovo police, pointed out wording in the Rambouillet accords which would indicate that Serbia not only give up control over Kosovo, but to some degree the rest of Yugoslavia as well! Why would one expect Milosevic to sign away Serbia's sovereignty?

But as Mr. Talbott noted in his "Time" article, national sovereignty is old hat. Perhaps this is the bottom-line theme as to what is being attempted in Kosovo? Perhaps it is not entirely ethnic cleansing after all.

Could it be that the European Union (which appears to be the cornerstone of a one world government) was very close to getting all Europe and its resources within its grasp except that one last holdout, Mr. Milosevic, got in the way.

This is the first time NATO has decided to intervene in the internal affairs of a sovereign nation with military force. The "Intelligence Digest" stated: "If NATO succeeds in its stated objectives, the consequences will include...the end of the post World War II principle of the inviolability of international borders. Whatever fig leaf is used, a NATO victory over the Serbs will mean a Kosovo that has been separated from Yugoslavia/Serbia in all but name." (Time, April 16, 1999)

During the 50th Anniversary Summit of NATO in Washington on April 23rd- 24th, a "new strategic concept"was put forth which would allow NATO to be far more than a defensive organization. This concept would allow NATO to, for various reasons, challenge the sovereignty of nonmember as well as member nations. In its April 30th issue, "Intelligence Digest" quoted an early April article from the "Jordan Times" which said: "But the most important issue raised in the NATO-Yugoslavia confrontation is the inviolability of a country's sovereignty, or more specifically under what circumstances is intervention in an independent state's internal affairs permissible and who would be allowed to intervene. Many of the states opposing NATO action fear it will set a precedent of support for separatist movements which could be used against China in Tibet, against Russia in Chechnya and against India in Kashmiri. Another concern is the bypassing of the UN by NATO. NATO is viewed as simply promoting U.S. interest and in effect making the U.S. a sort of world policeman."

Thus fulfilling another of the prophecies of the Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion: Protocol No. 7: "Object of the intensification of armaments. Ferments, discords and hostility all over the world. Checking the opposition of the goyim by wars and by a universal war (World War I and II). Secrecy means success in the political. The Press and public opinion. THE GUNS OF AMERICA, CHINA AND JAPAN."

Yawhew's Whirlwind - Part 3

In the August 26, 1992 New York Times, former U.S. Senator David Boren wrote an article entitled "The Word Needs An Army On Call:" "In the aftermath of World War II, President Truman wanted to empower the United Nations to create a new world order. Richard Gardner proposes that forty to fifty member nations contribute to a rapid deployment force of one hundred thousand volunteers that could train under common leadership. It is time for us to create such a force...The existence of such a force would go a long way toward making the ‘new world order' more than just a slogan."

Is there more than just a humanitarian mission being attempted by NATO or is another agenda at work? If so, such an agenda will have a great cost for the modern-day Israel nations since we are acting contrary to Yawhew's instructions; for it is our enemies, not us, who are to be the instigators of conflict.

"The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them." (Deuteronomy 33:27)

The Founding Fathers made it the sole prerogative of Congress, the branch of government closest to the people, to declare war on another nation. For that to happen there needs to be a clear provocation affecting U.S. interests. Such was not the case in World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Panama, or Yugoslavia. They are political wars born of the kinds of permanent foreign alliances George Washington warned the United States to avoid.

Furthermore, it is not the job of our leaders to set up a one-world government. That is the sole God-ordained prerogative of Jesus Christ.

Yet we are given to understand that even Yeashua, upon His return as King of kings and Lord or lords, is not just going to march in and violate the sovereignty of other nations. That would reduce the glory of the Kingdom of God to the brutal force of the kingdoms of this world. Rather, Isaiah declares: "For, behold, the darkness (fear and disorder) shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord (His enlightenment and salvation) shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles (nations) shall (voluntarily) come to thy light, and (sovereign) kings to the brightness of thy rising." (Isaiah 60:2-3)

This will be a world government by the sovereign choice of nations drawn to Yawhew's righteousness and love; not through economic manipulation, bombs and fear. That is the world's way of doing things as the nations and rulers of this world faithfully serve the gods spoken of by Paul. (Ephesians 6:12)

By seeking to be a part of the "global community,"Israel's rulers are forsaking Yawhew, Who alone is responsible for our nation's founding security and prosperity. Thus, Yawhew asks through Jeremiah: "Hath a nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods? But my people have changed their glory (Yawhew) for that which doth not profit...For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water." (Jeremiah 2:11, 13)

While it is true that our leaders have been the ones getting us involved into affairs which are not our business, such leaders can only occupy positions of authority when the people as a whole are backslidden in their relationship to Yawhew.

Thus it is Yawhew's plan to bring the modern-day Israel nations to a place where we will have to trust Him (and not our own self-might) for deliverance. To that end we wonder if the policies of the Clinton Administration, and the Blair government in England, have been used by Yawhew to prepare the way for Israel's true Deliverer in accord with what Yeashua told Daniel: "And when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people (Israel), all these things shall be finished." (Daniel 12:7)

With the present Kosovo operation we can see a marked increase in the scattering of Israel's power and influence as the U.S. Military is being dangerously depleted. Already suffering from six years of under funding, Operation Allied Force is stretching an already stretched U.S. force to the max. "Intelligence Digest" reports: "There is also already a shortage of cruse missiles, and the shortfall in supply won't be relived until September 2000. There are said to be only 90 air-launched cruise missiles left in the U.S. Armory." (Intelligence Digest, April 23, 1999)

Many have warned of the depletion in U.S. Military Forces for some years now. But in the last year it has gotten much worse with little about it being reported in the media, and few in Congress sounding an alarm.

In addition to a lack of ships, aircraft (and the spare parts needed to keep them running and flying) the present Administration has subjected our Military to a political correctness program which has demoralized our forces and has led to many servicemen leaving the Armed Forces (the numbers of combat ready pilots are will below normal).

Of even more interest is the effect the U.S. action in Kosovo is having on Russia; which of course backs the Yugoslav/Serbian government. We have said all along that some crisis would occur which would end the Yeltsin government and the restoration of a more militant central authority in Moscow. Will the NATO bombings in Serbia help fulfill Yahweh's word concerning Gog which declares: "And I will turn thee back (this we may have already seen in the breakup of the Soviet Union), and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, all thine army." (Ezekiel 38:4)

In April, the debt payments on Russia's IMF loans came due and Russian officials were in Washington to discuss what could be done as Russia defaulted on those loans. Little was heard about it, but Oliver North commented on Equal Time that further IMF loans (or debt extensions) were used as leverage to get Russian support to either broker a deal between Milosevic and NATO, or to simply not significantly oppose NATO bombings.

But as was noted in the December 1998 "Destiny Special Alert," "Russia and the Economy," one day Russia will (like Hitler did) simply cancel its debt tot he Western bankers and then do what it pleases. What will we do then?

We have also speculated in past articles that, while not a complete ruse, the breakup of the Soviet Union, the collapse of the Russian economy and the decline of Russian military might may not be entirely genuine either.

To that end, the "Drudge Report" for May 22nd in an interview with Washington Times reporter, Bill Gertz, presented an astounding report. For the past decade Russia has been spending billions on a nuclear-proof bunker located about 100 miles west of Moscow deep under Yamantau Mountain in the Urals. The New York Times reported the facility is the size of metropolitan Washington.

The bunker is connected to Moscow by an underground subway system and its purpose is to act as a command post for the Russian government in time of war (presumably nuclear war). The report went on to say that the Russian name of the mountain in English means "evil mountain." If this is all true, one cannot help but think of Yawhew's words: "Behold, I am against thee, O destroying mountain, saith the Lord, which destroyest all the earth: and I will stretch out m8ine hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain." (Jeremiah 51:25)

But with the present trouble in the Balkans, it is another end-time prophecy from Jeremiah that we wish to direct our attention to. The prophet stated: "A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the Lord hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the Lord. Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth. And the slain of the Lord shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth." (Jeremiah 25:31-33)

The Hebrew word translated "coasts" in this passage is Yerekah, which means the flank, the side, border, coast.

Strong's Concordance: #3411  yerekah (yer-ay-kaw'); feminine of 3409; properly, the flank; but used only figuratively, the rear or recess: KJV-- border, coast, part, quarter, side.

Yawhew's Whirlwind - Part 4 (Last One)

In fact, different Bible translations have rendered the phrase "coasts of the earth" to read "remotest parts of the earth," "far ends of the world," "far ends of the earth" and "flanks of the earth."

It was for this reason the late pastor Howard Rand, thought this prophecy had bearing on South Africa, as its position on the southern tip of Africa certainly fit the description. But South Africa has died down for the most part.

So too did the Gulf War which was termed "Operation Desert Storm;" and Isaiah 21:1 likewise speaks of a "great whirlwind" saying, "As whirlwinds in the south pass through; so it cometh from the desert, from a terrible land."

But the Balkans, in the position on the coasts, or flanks, of the old  Roman World, is another region from which the great whirlwind may come. That was the case on June 28, 1914 when the assassination of the Archduke of Austria in Sarajevo, by a Jewish Freemason, led 37 days later to World War I.

The Middle East, of course, is another likely spot where this "great whirlwind" may originate, f or we read in Zechariah: "Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it." (Zechariah 12:2-3)

That is very interesting considering that with the new Labor government in Israel, the U.S. is going to push for the acceptance of an in dependent Palestinian State with part of Jerusalem as its capital in the Spring of next year.

Ireland is yet another trouble spot that the Blair government has been working on so that global harmony may be achieved. And perhaps it will be; at least for a short while. Paul did say it would only be "after" the declaration of "peace and safety" was made that the "day of the Lord"would come as a "thief in the night."

At some point the oil cast upon the global waters will dissipate, and the various conflicts and trouble spots from the flanks and coasts of the earth will join into the great whirlwind spoken of by Jeremiah so long ago.

Contributing to that whirlwind will be the weapons of mass destruction in the hands of the kremlin leaders, and now their counterparts in China as well. No wonder Yeashua said: "Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken." (Luke 21:26)

That prophecy, we believe, was fulfilled in the splitting of the atom releasing atomic power and all its destructive capability, and Ezra clearly foresaw a nuclear blast: "And great clouds will rise, huge and angry, with the (bright) star, to destroy all the earth and its inhabitants." (2 Esdras 15:40, Smith & Goodspeed Translation)

As we see the present calamity in Kosovo, and the theft of our most deadly nuclear weapons by our enemies, it is disheartening to watch the wrongdoing in our government and the apathy of the public. But we keep in mind that, after Yeashua spoke of the failing of hearts and the shaking of the powers of heaven. He also declared: "And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." (Luke 21:27-28) Amen, come quickly Yeashua.
